Nokia: completes Ceneri Tunnel project in Switzerland
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has said that it has completed all delivery stages of the Ceneri Base Tunnel project for AlpTransit Gotthard on time.
The Finnish multinational company has been responsible for providing management, control, monitoring and support systems for operations in Ticino, Switzerland.
Designed to provide faster rail links through the Swiss Alps, the Ceneri Base Tunnel has been "delivered" to the Swiss Federal Railways and will be commissioned in December 2020.
