Nokia: chosen by Taiwan's TST for network expansion deal
(CercleFinance.com) - Mobile operator Taiwan Star Telecom has chosen Nokia to expand the coverage and capacity of its LTE network to support subscriber growth, the Finnish telecoms equipment maker said on Friday.
The expansion will enhance the quality of TST's network, while improving user experience, the company said in a statement.
The new solution will also enable TST to offer narrowband Internet of Things (IoT) services, while preparing it to migrate to 5G services in the future, Nokia pointed out.
