Nokia: wins multi-year upgrade deal from Indosat
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia said on Tuesday that it has won a multi-year contract to upgrade Indosat's network to meet fast-growing subscriber demand for fixed and mobile broadband services in Indonesia.
The IP/MPLS network upgrade aims to provide video-grade 4G coverage to over 90% of Indonesia's population, upgrading the network's performance and making it 5G-ready, Nokia said.
The Finnish telecom gear maker gave no financial details in its statement.
