Nokia: selected for smart city project in India
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has been chosen by Indian telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to power a smart city project that is intended to transform India's cities through intelligent infrastructure, the telecoms gear maker said on Friday.
Under the terms of the deal, Nokia will integrate the units with smart LED lighting systems, CCTV cameras, digital billboards and environmental sensors, the Finnish company said.
