Nokia: completes acquisition of US-based Unium
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announced on Friday that it has completed the acquisition of Unium, a Seattle-based software company that specializes in solving wireless networking problems.
Unium's software will be embedded into Nokia's Wi-Fi portfolio to provide operators with an easy-to-install solution that constantly optimizes in-home Wi-Fi connections, the Finnish company said.
Unium will operate as part of Nokia's fixed networks business unit.
