Nokia: launches new software for enterprise communications
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia is launching a new security software that may be deployed in enterprise private clouds, the Finish telecoms group said on Monday.
Nokia said the eSBC software acts as a "gatekeeper" for communications, mitigating cyber-attacks, optimising the use of IP bandwidth and blocking unauthorised access attempts.
It also prevents network overload, the company said.
Plans for so-called private cloud "session border controllers" have more than tripled over the past year.
