Nokia: selected by UAE's Etisalat for cloud network deal
(CercleFinance.com) - UAE-based telecoms group Etisalat has chosen Nokia's virtualized network solution as a key element in its cloud transformation program, the Finnish telecom company said on Thursday.
More specifically, Etisalat has selected Nokia's Nuage Networks SD-WAN solution to provide automated and programmable services to its corporate clients.
The company will hence become the first operator to deploy the solution in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, Nokia said.
