Nokia: further steps into 5G with new 4G features.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia is extending its portfolio of ultra-broadband product and technology solutions, boosting 4G performance, in order to help operators to prepare for the adoption of 5G.
The telecoms equipment maker said it has added new features that will enable operators to increase peak performance and cell capacity while reducing space requirements at cell sites.
Nokia said operators will need to deploy the next wave of small cells to increase network deployments and boost coverage and capacity in the busiest hotspots - especially in dense urban environments.
