IAG: theft of client details at British Airways
(CercleFinance.com) - British Airways, a subsidiary of International Airline Group (IAG), yesterday lamented the theft of client details from its website www.
ba.com and its mobile application.
The data that has been stolen is personal and relates to payment details, although does not contain any terms relating to customer travel nor their passports.
IAG reports that the breach has been notified on www.ba.com and that the site is now working normally. The airline has contacted the people concerned, as well as the authorities.
