Grifols: opens new plasma donor center in US
(CercleFinance.com) - Spanish blood plasma company Grifols said on Monday that it has opened a new biotest plasma donor center in Arkansas, which will let residents donate plasma.
A total investment of over 1.8 million dollars will be made in the Russellville plant, in both renovations and newly built facilites, the group said. Grifols expects to create over 40 jobs.
The Spanish company has a network of over 250 plasma donor centers worldwide, which produce plasma-derived medicines used to treat rare, chronic and life-threatening conditions.
