Siemens Gamesa: wins order for Swedish wind farm
(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial group Siemens Gamesa won an order to supply eight turbines to Danish developer Eurowind Energy for a wind farm located near Karlstad, in Sweden.
This is the first order for its 170-meter rotor onshore turbine, which is capable of providing enough power for almost 5,000 homes a year, the Spanish-based company said in a statement.
The wind turbines will be installed in the second half of 2021 in a forest area.
Siemens Gamesa has also secured a 25-year full-service agreement as part of the deal.
