Siemens Gamesa: named supplier for Taiwan wind power project
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa is to supply turbines to an offshore wind project in Taiwan that has a total capacity of 300 megawatts, the Spanish-based group said on Wednesday.
Siemens Gamesa and Hai Long have signed a preferred supplier agreement for the delivery and servicing of turbines in a deal that remains subject to a final investment decision from the consortium partners, Canadian independent power producer Northland Power and Taiwan-based developer Yushan Energy.
Construction is expected to begin in 2023.
