Siemens Gamesa: first contract for SG 3.4-132 in France
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa announces that it will supply its SG 3.
4-132 wind turbine for the first time. Designed for the French market for two projects totaling nearly 100 MW in the Marne department, in north-east France. These projects will respectively be equipped with 15 and 13 wind turbines.
The group states that this wind turbine will enable annual energy production that is 30% higher than the old generation, performance which will enable it to deliver the lowest cost of energy of this segment.
The SG 3.4-132 has also been designed with Siemens Gamesa Optimaflex technology which enables it to perfectly match its nominal power to the geographical or regulatory constraints of French sites, the Spanish group added.
