Siemens Gamesa: wins nearshore wind turbine deal in Vietnam
(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial group Siemens Gamesa won an order to supply seven wind turbines for the first phase of a project located between 2 km and 5 km off the coast of Vietnam.
Conditionally, Siemens Gamesa will supply seven more turbines for the second phase of the project.
The agreement with Tan Hoan Cau, an independent power provider in Vietnam specialising in hydro and wind power, also includes service and maintenance for 10 years.
The No. 5 Thanh Hai 1 wind farm, with an installed capacity of 32 MW, is expected to be commissioned in mid-2020, the company said.
