Siemens Gamesa: wins US wind turbine contract
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has been awarded another order by France's EDF Renewables to supply 30 wind turbines for a wind project located in Nebraska.
The deal - which also includes a service and maintenance agreement for its maintenance program - reinforces the group's position in one of the largest wind power markets in the world, the ompany said.
Siemens Gamesa has already installed over 10,000 wind turbines in the US.
The project is set to be completed by the end of 2020, it said.
