Siemens Gamesa: about the Turkish contract
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy belongs to the consortium that has won a contract in Turkey for the supply of wind turbines with a maximum power capacity of one gigawatt (GW).
In detail, the Spanish subsidiary that is dedicated to the wind turbines of the conglomerate Siemens teamed up with the Turkish groups Kalyon Enerji and Turkerler Holding. Together, they won the first auction organised for this purpose in this country last August.
Siemens Gamesa will therefore be responsible for supplying, installing and commissioning the wind turbines distributed in several farms, as well as providing associated maintenance services for 15 years.
