Carlsberg: Barclays still 'overweight' on stock

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays confirms its "overweight" recommendation on Carlsberg, having increased its target price from 975 Danish kronor to 1033 Danish kronor, the day after the Scandinavian brewer's Q1 results.


This publication has been marked by organic sales growth of 6.4%, with the broker highlighting a very positive performance in Asia, with organic sales growth of 15.3%.

It continues, saying that the group's international premium brands reported strong volume growth with a continuous upgrade in quality, pointing to a 7% increase in volumes for Tuborg, driven by China and India.
