Zalando: French stores can now reach its customers

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Zalando announced that it is further expanding its Connected Retail program to France.
As from today, French retailers can connect their stores directly to Zalando's platform and sell their products to millions of customers online.

The German ready-to-wear website has set itself the goal of integrating at least 600 French stores into this third-party seller program, dubbed "Connected Retail," by the end of the year.

In all, Zalando plans to invest 50 million euros in the "Connected Retail" project in 2021, a large part of which should be dedicated to the French market, which it says is "strategic".

Depending on the size of the store, retailers can achieve up to 60% growth in their sales, after integrating the platform, the Berlin-based group said in a statement.

The Karl Lagerfeld store in the chic Saint Germain-des-Prés district of Paris is one of the first French stores to connect.
