K+S: Credit Suisse upgrades 'sell' rating

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Credit Suisse upgraded its sell rating ("underperform") on the share of the German fertilizer group K+S, although the broker is still somewhat cautious, limiting its upgrade to “neutral”.

The broker has set a target price at 18.5 euros, meaning upside potential of under 10%.

Analysts' change of stance results from them raising their expectations for the price of potash, with the market of this agricultural raw material is boosted by "healthy demand on the back or record harvests in the Americas".

However, Credit Suisse is neutral towards the stock, with it expecting the production of potash to be slightly below the group's 2019 targets, in particular due to weather conditions. Analysts point out that, "Given its recent production track record, this is still not without risk."
