flatexDEGIRO: Q1 sales soar 176%
(CercleFinance.com) - flatexDEGIRO today reported Q1 sale of 134.
9 million euros, up almost 176% y-o-y (48.9 million euros).
At the same time, adjusted EBITDA tripled (+208%), from 23.7 million euros to 73.1 million euros, with the group even reaching a margin of 54% for the first time.
With over 360,000 new clients, the group said that it was able to expand its customer base by almost 30% in the first three months of the year alone, the broker notes, which has announces "remarkable operational development" in the first quarter.
For 2021, flatexDEGIRO expects to increase its customer base from 2 million to 2.2 million, with estimated transactions of between 90 million and 110 million.
By 2025, the company has even set itself the target of serving at least 1% of the eligible population in Europe, i.e. over than 3 million people.
