E.ON: starts building Texas wind farm

ON started construction of a 151-megawatt wind farm in Texas, as the German utility group is expanding its capacity in the US.
The project - which will consist of 48 Nordex turbines - is expected to go into operation by the end of 2019 and then generate renewable energy for the equivalent of 45,000 households, the company said.
Further projects are also being prepared in the US, E.ON added.
