(CercleFinance.com) - Having been awarded a contract by Taxi Stockholm, E.
ON has gained a major pilot customer for the conversion of commercial vehicle fleets to electric mobility in Sweden.
The German energy group said Taxi Stockholm is gradually adapting its fleet to environmentally friendly cars and has purchased and deployed 30 electric Renault Zoe cars on that purpose.
Under the terms of the deal, E.ON will provide and install the charging infrastructure and supplies renewable energy for the vehicles.
E.ON says it sees a strong increase in demand for electric mobility in Sweden.
