E.ON: clean energy offer with retailer Lidl.
(CercleFinance.com) - Germany's biggest utility, E.
ON, will supply low-priced clean energy to Lidl customers in a nationwide collaboration that will start on 3 July, both companies said on Friday.
The energy that E.ON will supply to the discount grocery retailer's customers will come entirely from renewable sources, such as wind, solar power and hydropower.
Lidl and E.ON say they are offering a price guarantee up until 2019.
