Commerzbank: new chairman of supervisory board
(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank announces that its supervisory board has decided to appoint Helmut Gottschalk as its new board chairman, succeeding Hans-Jörg Vetter, who resigned from his post on 16 March for health reasons.
The election of Helmut Gottschalk as a new board member will first be proposed to the annual general meeting, after which the supervisory board intends to elect him as chairman.
Helmut Gottschalk headed the cooperative central bank DZ Bank from 2010 to 2018. The remaining vacancy on Commerzbank's supervisory board is to be resolved soon, so that the general meeting can be scheduled quickly.
