Commerzbank: completes acquisition of comdirect
(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank had announced that it now has full control of comdirect as of today, 2 November, thereby formally terminating the listing of the comdirect shares and enabling their merger to become effective as from now.
Comdirect shares held by minority shareholders will be transferred to Commerzbank in exchange for a cash consideration of 12.75 euros per share, which will be paid in the next few days.
The German bank adds that the new joint business model has yet to be defined and negotiated with employee representatives. The comdirect sites in Quickborn and Rostock will be retained.
