Commerzbank: will leave the DAX 30 index
(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Börse, the main German exchange operator, announced last night that the action of payment processing specialist Wirecard would enter the large-cap index DAX 30, equivalent to the CAC 40 in Germany.
From 24 September, the Wirecard share, which after rising sharply currently has a market capitalisation of about 22 billion euros, will replace Commerzbank, which has a market capitalisation of slightly over ten billion euros.
The Commerzbank share will henceforth be listed in the German MDAX, the country's mid-cap index.
