Bayer: collaboration agreement with Exscientia
(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer announces that it has signed a three-year collaboration agreement with Exscientia Ltd, a British company specialising in drug discovery using artificial intelligence (AI), that are aimed at the treatment of cardiovascular and oncological diseases.
Both partners will work on early stage research projects combining Exscientia's AI platform with Bayer's capacities. Excientia may be eligible to receive up to 240 million euros in payments, alongside royalties on sales.
