Bayer: signs license agreement for animal health business
(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer has struck up a global license agreement with US-based privately held biopharmaceutical company NeuroCycle Therapeutics to develop new allergy treatments for companion animals.
The terms of the new deal were not disclosed, but Bayer will develop and market novel compounds based on intellectual property licensed and controlled by NeuroCycle, the companies said.
Pet ownership is growing around the world and allergies are one of the main concerns for pet owners and vets, both parties said.
