Lufthansa: unveils its new Business Class.
(CercleFinance.com) - Lufthansa announced on Monday that it has previewed the concept of its future Business Class, which will be available on the German airline's regular lines from 2020 with the deployment of the Boeing 777-9.
In particular, there will be a new seat with an ergonomic backrest that may be converted into a bed that is 2m20 long.
With the Boeing 777-9 having a much wider cabin than its predecessors, Lufthansa has wanted to use this additional space, offering passengers direct access to the aisle, thanks to the new seating set-up.
The new seats will provide a truly private space with generous storage compartments and tablets. Meanwhile, passengers will be able to choose from a number of layouts, depending on their needs, such as a longer bed or a seat with workspace that is twice the size, Lufthansa detailed.
