Volkswagen: presents 1st fully electric SUV

The German automobile giant Volkswagen has presented its new ID.4, the first fully electric SUV. Belonging to the compact SUV range, the vehicle generates no CO2 emissions. Equipped with a 150 kW engine, the ID.4 has a range of up to 520 km.
Particularly popular in the United States and China, the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) class is booming, with a constantly increasing market share.
In addition, Volkswagen plans to invest 11 billion euros in electric mobility by 2024 as part of its Transform 2025+ strategy.
