Siemens: launches Sinamics S200 servo control system

The system consists of a precise servo motor and easy-to-use cables, offering high dynamic performance.
Applications that require speed and torque accuracy, such as winding and unwinding machines in battery manufacturing and cell assembly, particularly benefit from the new servo drive system, Siemens says.
Sinamics S200 covers a power range of 0.1 to 1 kW (200 V) and 0.2 to 7 kW (400 V) and can be combined with a low, medium or high inertia motor.
