Siemens: strategic partnership with Cellforce
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens announces that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Cellforce, a manufacturer of high-performance Li-Ion battery cells for the automotive market.
Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens will become Cellforce's preferred supplier of automation and digitalisation technology.
In particular, the companies will join forces to improve the battery design, manufacturing process and construction operations, as well as the production design, planning and simulation phases.
In the deal Siemens will provide its partner with a wide range of solutions from its Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
