Siemens: six directors proposed for Siemens Alstom board
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens will have six members on the board of directors of the future Siemens Alstom, the combined entity resulting from the merger of Siemens and Alstom's rail divisions, the German conglomerate said on Tuesday.
The six members designated include Siemens' CFO Ralf Thomas and group chief technology officer Roland Busch, who will also serve as the board's chairman, the company said.
In addition to Henri Poupart-Lafarge, currently chairman and CEO of Alstom, and who has been nominated as CEO of Siemens Alstom, Alstom has
proposed four independent members, including BNP Paribas' former boss Baudouin Prot.
Siemens Alstom's board will then have eleven members.
