Siemens: to create new company for energy storage.
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens has said that it has agreed with US power group AES Corporation to form a new energy storage technology and services company under the name "Fluence.

The joint venture will bring together AES' experience in deploying energy storage in seven countries with Siemens' energy technology and the German giant's sales presence in over 160 countries.
Siemens and AES will each hold a 50% stake in the company's share capital.
