Sixt: 2018 earnings up 86.1%
(CercleFinance.com) - The car rental company Sixt has reported FY consolidated sales of 2.
93 billion euros, up 12.6%.
Earnings Before Tax (EBT) reached 534.6 million euros, up 86.1% relative to 287.3 million euros the year before.
The company said that once adjusted to take into account the proceeds form the sale of its stake in the carpooling company DriveNow, EBT reaches 336.7 million euros, which represents growth of 17.2%.
Sixt plans to increase its dividend to 2.15 euros per ordinary share (vs. 1.95 euro in 2018) and 2.17 euros per preference share (vs. 1.97 euro in 2018).
