Daimler: names new head of finance for Greater China
(CercleFinance.com) - Daimler said on Wednesday that Olaf Schick has been named head of finance and controlling for the Greater China region, effective as of 1 July.
A lawyer, Schick joined Daimler's in 2004 and between 2015 and 2017 was CFO at Mercedes-Benz Russia, before being appointed to the position of chief compliance officer.
He will replace Steffen Hoffmann, who will take over as Daimler's head of investor relations from 1 April, as Björn Scheib will hand over responsibility after 11 years in charge of the department, continuing his career outside the German carmaker.
