RWE: adjusted EBITDA more than quadruples in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - RWE has announced strong Q1 2023 results, with adjusted EBITDA increasing 4.
6-fold to E2.8bn and adjusted net profit rising to E1.67bn (from breakeven a year earlier), thanks to higher profits in the green core business.
It says that the green portfolio grew by seven gigawatts year-on-year thanks to acquisitions and the commissioning of new wind and solar power plants, of which 4.9 gigawatts were added in the first quarter of 2023 alone.
With over 70 projects, totalling 6.8 gigawatts, currently under construction in 12 countries, the German energy group confirms its outlook and its dividend target of one euro per share for 2023.
