Fraport: maintains forecasts after robust start to year
(CercleFinance.com) - Fraport has started the year with robust growth, with the group maintaining its forecasts for 2019, the German airport operator said on Wednesday.
In the first quarter, Fraport's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 14.8% to 200.6 million euros. Group revenue jumped by 17.9% to 803.8 million euros.
At its main airport in Frankfurt, passenger volume rose by 2.5% to 14.8 million passengers from January to March, Fraport said.
The company's shares were down 0.8% this morning in Frankfurt, as investors seemed to largely ignore these results.
