Continental: EU clears acquisition of Osram's businesses
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of OSRAM Continental's lighting control business by Continental, both of which are based in Germany.
OSRAM Continental's lighting control unit business manufactures and supplies lighting control units used to control automotive lighting systems.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not give rise to any competition concerns given the absence of overlaps between the companies' activities.
