Continental: CEO to quit
(CercleFinance.com) - Continental's CEO, Dr.
Elmar Degenhart has informed the supervisory board that he intends to leave office as from 30 November 2020 for health reasons.
After eleven years as Continental's CEO, he has asked the Supervisory Board to accept the early termination of his term of office as a director, which was set to run until 11 August 2024.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Prof. Wolfgang Reitzle, announced that he would shortly convene the Supervisory Board to decide on the appointment of a successor.
However, the news seemed to bounce off its tyres - at noon the share is resisting - up 0.3%, outperforming the 0.5% drop in Germany's DAX 30 index.
