BMW: North America car sales up 3.9% in June

9% year-on-year in North America to 34,862 units in June, the company said in a statement issued late on Tuesday.
The auto giant - which also owns the Mini brand - said BMW brand sales rose 7.5% in the past month to 31,627 cars.
BMW light trucks - which include the brand-new X4 and the X3 bestseller - saw their sales jump by 43% last month.
Year-to-date, BMW's sales in North America haved fallen slightly - down 1.1% to 174,023 vehicles.
