Deutsche Bank: towards a sale of its Polish subsidiary?
(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank, BCP and Banco Santander are in talks with Deutsche Bank to buy from its Polish subsidiary, excluding foreign currency loans, according to Aurel BGC, which quotes a Polish newspaper on the matter.
"The three institutions mentioned have already submitted initial offers, but the binding proposals are not expected before the beginning of August," the broker's analysts point out.
Aurel BGC adds that Deutsche Bank could raise 500 million euros from such an asset sale and that its Commerzbank would appear to be a front runner to buy the subsidiary.
