Nestle: inaugurates Gerber cereals snack plant in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has announced the opening of the Nestlé Gerber Nutripuff in Shuangcheng, Harbin.
This event marks the first official production of Gerber Nutripuff in China, and is an important step towards an international leading babyfood brand.
The total investment in this new plant is approximately 100 million RMB (slightly under 13 million euros). The production chain has an annual production capacity of approximately 1,400 tonnes.
It is the Swiss agri-food giant's latest investment in China.
