Nestle: in talks over the sale of skin care unit
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestle is in talks over the sale of its skin care unit for 10.
2 billion Swiss francs (about 9 billion euros), the Swiss food giant said on Thursday.
The company said that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with a consortium led by EQT and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) for the sale of Nestlé Skin Health.
With brands such as Galderma and Cetaphil, the unit made net sales of 2.8 billion Swiss francs (approximately 2.5 billion euros) in 2018, it added.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2019.
