Dufry: Q3 sales dive 79.7%
(CercleFinance.com) - Dufry's Q3 sales came in at 487 million Swiss francs, a far cry from the 2.
5 billion Swiss francs recorded a year ago.
At constant exchange rates, the decline reached 79.7%, mainly due to the collapse in passenger traffic at most airports worldwide.
In the first nine months of the year, sales reached 2.07 billion Swiss francs and fell by 67.8% y-o-y.
Given the current situation and low visibility, Dufry is not providing any forecasts, although aims to achieve a billion Swiss francs in savings from 2020.
Dufry is also counting on its restructuring and flexibility to stimulate the recovery and accelerate growth beyond the current crisis.
