The new and improved manufacturing capabilities which apply the latest automation, digital and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are expected to boost the production, availability and quality of MCBs for ABB's extensive customer network.
ABB also announces that its Frosinone site in Italy is integrating sustainability throughout the value chain for circuit breakers.
Guided by the insights of ABB AbilityTM Energy Manager, ABB has improved the energy efficiency of every circuit breaker it produces in Frosinone by 25% - and reduced average Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions per product by 33% compared to 2019.
