ABB: buys Chinese EV charging provider Chargedot
(CercleFinance.com) - ABB is acquiring a 67% stake in Chinese e-mobility company Chargedot, the Swiss engineering group said on Monday without disclosing the terms of the deal.
Chargedot supplies charging stations, as well as the necessary software platform to clients including electric vehicle manufacturers and electric vehicles charging network operators.
The company has about 185 employees.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the coming months, with ABB having the possibility to increase its stake further in the next three years, the group said.
