Holcim: a merchant as inaugurates 'Essential Homes' project
(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim announces that the "Essential Homes" project conducted with the Norman Foster Foundation has been inaugurated in Venice on the launch of the 2023 Architecture Biennale.
In the partnership, the Norman Foster Foundation has designed the concept of housing to meet basic human needs, providing safety, comfort and well-being for displaced people who may have to live in so-called "temporary" settlements for decades.
Holcim brought the project to life with a range of sustainable, low-carbon, energy-efficient and circular building solutions, demonstrating how sustainable construction can be within everyone's reach.
