LafargeHolcim: completes acquisition of Firestone Building P
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim announces that its subsidiary Holcim Participations (US) Inc has completed the acquisition of Firestone Building Products, after obtaining all regulatory approvals, in a deal that has been completed ahead of schedule, thanks to the collaboration with Bridgestone.
Specialising in commercial roofing and building envelope solutions in the US, Firestone Building Products had net sales of over 1.8 billion in 2020 and employs 1900 people.
Firestone Building Products' sound prospects in 2021 have been confirmed with results, to date, that have exceeded expectations, coupled with encouraging trends ahead, the Franco-Swiss building materials group said.
