LafargeHolcim: closes divestment of activities in Malaysia
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim announces that it has completed the sale of its 51% shareholding in Lafarge Malaysia Berhad to YTL Cement Berhad for a total enterprise value of 982 million Swiss francs, which will reduce its net financial debt by nearly 600 million Swiss francs.
Alongside the divestment of activities in Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore, this transaction will result in a significant deleverage of 0.6 times Net Debt to Recurring EBITDA ratio and allow the company to better its target ratio of 2 times or less by the end of 2019.
